This free workshop will be a time to explore the principles of and to engage in self-active play. Participants will engage in connecting with the materials, ourselves, and with others.
In preparation for our time together, we invite you to gather a set of exciting open-ended materials and have them available to use during the Zoom. Possible materials include:
- Sticks & stones
- cardboard
- wooden blocks
- fabric
- foam
- bottle tops
- yarn
- driftwood pieces
- buttons
- beads
- pine cones
- or anything to engage hands
Please also bring paper and tools for writing or drawing and ensure you have a quiet and comfortable place to play.
After our time of Self-Active play we will then reflect, journal, and share with others what happens during the process.
