Strategies to Support Collaboration and Play Between ALL Children in the Classroom Environment

Play-based learning is an effective method for supporting students with special needs and their typically developing peers. This course will examine different strategies that can be used to encourage students to learn through play, which can be particularly beneficial for those with sensory processing challenges or difficulties with traditional learning methods.

This course will provide methods on how to use a variety of materials and tools that can be used in different ways to support different learning styles and abilities. By using play-based learning and cooperative learning techniques, teachers can create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students in their learning and development.
