This training will support family childcare providers in creating curricula and environments that maximize learning opportunities for children. Through interactive activities, participants will learn and practice the basics of curriculum development and lesson planning. Participants will also identify features of an environment that help children feel secure, welcome, and ready to learn. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to maintain a developmentally appropriate learning environment.
