Child Care Immunization Requirements

In this session, participants will:

– Learn about state laws and department of licensing requirements that apply to vaccinations for children, workers, and volunteers in child care
– Gain best practices for monitoring and maintaining records of immunization documents, including updated forms and guides
– Understand the importance of effective communication with parents about vaccines
– Takeaway resources to support families in keeping vaccine records up to date

This training fulfills 2 hours in the Competency Area: Health, Safety, and Nutrition (HSN)
