An Introduction to the Environmental Rating Scales (ERS) for Child Care and Early Education Programs

This training will introduce the three commonly used Environment Rating Scales (FCCERS-R, ITERS-R and ECERS-R). Participants will learn about the ERS scoring process and understand how using these tools can impact the quality of their childcare and early education programs. By the end of this training, providers will be able to use each tool to assess the quality of the interactions between adults and children, classroom schedules, materials, and spaces available and accessible to children.
