Module 1: Promoting Communication Exchanges
In the first module of this series developed by Zero to Three, you will gain an understanding of young children’s interest and capacity in communication exchanges during their first three years. Learn how to identify strategies and practices for extending children’s communication during teacher-child interactions. Recognize the communicative intent that dual/multilingual learners demonstrate and identify strategies for encouraging and building on it in ways that are meaningful to them.
