Module 1 – Trauma: When Terrible Things Happen

Parents, you can get paid up to $120 to learn about trauma informed care and ways to develop personal and family resilience in CCRC’s six part series!

This is the first module in the series,  Trauma: When Terrible Things Happen, discover:

– The definition of traumasin.
– Characteristics of a “Parenting Trauma Informed lens”
– Supporting children in developing resilience

8/6 – What happens to my family when terrible things happen

8/13 – I am the parent my child needs

8/19 – Understanding historical trauma

8/22 – Helping my parenting bounce back after terrible things happen

The Planting Prosperity Program (PPP) helps parents create a safe and nurturing environment for their children by combining Trauma Informed Care (TIC) trainings and Mental Health Consultation to enhance the parent-child relationship.
