Family Child Care Provider Pathway Program
If you are a Family Child Care (FCC) provider or a Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) provider who’s interested in earning your California Child Development Permit, consider joining the Pathway Program. Participants will work with other providers to improve their professional skills, deepen their understanding of child development, and earn early college credit and a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit!
Eligibility Requirements:
FCC provider (licensed or current CCIP participant)
FFN provider
Care for at least two children between the ages of 0 – 12
Program Benefits:
Monthly coaching visits
No-cost college coursework offered at a convenient location
Tutoring and training in support of the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit
Stipends dependent on established professional/academic benchmarks
Initial Steps:
To learn more and complete the registration process, attend the virtual orientation session on Wednesday, June 26 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm.
